According to insider Florian Plettenberg, Barcelona and Poland forward Robert Lewandowski has no intention of leaving the Blaugrana during the summer 2026 transfer window.
Furthermore, the 37-year-old forward does not plan to announce his retirement from professional football. On November 11, the portal Diario Sport reported that Lewandowski might end his career if he does not extend his contract with Barcelona or receives no attractive offer.
Recall that Lewandowski’s current contract with Barcelona runs until the end of June 2026. In the 2025-26 season, he has played nine matches in La Liga, scoring seven goals, and three matches in the UEFA Champions League. Transfermarkt estimates his market worth at ten million euros.
