The football federations of Spain, Turkey, and Norway have urgently called on UEFA to explore the possibility of excluding Israel from competitions organized under its auspices, according to RMC Sport.
The English Football Association is also closely monitoring the situation and is open to imposing measures against Israel.
A vote on sanctions is being considered, though UEFA’s leadership wants to assess the chances of success first. Analysts see a vote as a sign UEFA is ready to make a significant political decision. The UEFA Executive Committee is scheduled to meet on December 3.
