Liverpool Set a 60-Year Club Anti-Record in the English Championship

On November 22, Nottingham Forest secured a decisive 3-0 away victory over Liverpool during Matchday 12 of the English Premier League (EPL).

This result marked an anti-record for the Merseyside team in the national championship over the past six decades.

According to the statistical resource Opta Sport, Liverpool have suffered two consecutive crushing defeats in the English championship (by a margin of three or more goals) for the first time since 1965. Bill Shankly was at the helm of the Reds during that time.

In the Matchday 11 EPL fixture, Arne Slot's team also lost by the same score away to Manchester City. Currently, Liverpool sit in 11th place in the league table with 18 points.
