
Los Angeles, competing in the American MLS league, have extended their agreement with the 38-year-old former French national team goalkeeper Hugo Lloris.
The champion of the 2018 World Cup held in Russia, signed a new contract with the club, running until the end of the 2026 season. According to information published on the Los Angeles official website, the new contract includes an option to extend for one more season until the end of 2027.
The goalkeeper will celebrate his 39th birthday on December 26. Lloris has been a Los Angeles player since January 2024. Before that, the French goalkeeper played for England's Tottenham, as well as French clubs Lyon and Nice.
This season, Lloris's team reached the MLS playoff quarterfinals, where they suffered a defeat to Vancouver in a penalty shootout (2-2, 3-4).
