Midfielder for Croatia and AC Milan Luka Modrić turned 40 on September 9 and marked the milestone with a short social media post saying “Age is just a number.”
This summer Modrić left Real Madrid and signed with Milan until 2026, with an option to extend.
Across his career, the Croatian has won the Ballon d’Or (2018) and the Champions League six times with Real. He has 190 appearances for the national team, 28 goals, as well as medals at the World Cup and the Nations League.
