Paris Saint-Germain are beginning preparations for the January 2026 transfer window, L'Équipe reports. The Parisian club is not planning to acquire players but is only looking to part ways with two footballers.
The list of those who might leave PSG includes goalkeeper Matvey Safonov and defender Lucas Beraldo. Both players are reportedly dissatisfied with their situation and are complaining about the lack of playing time, according to the source.
Safonov has played for PSG since the summer of 2024. The Russian has not played a single match for the French team during the 2025-2026 season. His contract with the club expires in the summer of 2029. The Transfermarkt website estimates Matvey's value at €18 million.
After 13 rounds of the current Ligue 1 season, PSG are in first place in the table with 30 points. In their 14th match, Luis Enrique's team is set to play Monaco. The meeting will take place on November 29 at 19:00 GMT+3.
