L'Équipe: Raphinha Did Not Earn First-Place Votes for 2025 Ballon d’Or

According to L'Équipe, Brazilian winger Raphinha of Barcelona did not receive any first-place votes in the 2025 Ballon d’Or voting. His teammate Lamine Yamal was named first by journalists 11 times.

One journalist gave the top spot to Real Madrid striker Kylian Mbappé. PSG winger Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay also each received one first-place vote.

PSG’s French winger Ousmane Dembele, who won the 2025 Ballon d’Or, earned 73 first-place votes out of 100.

Raphinha joined Barcelona in July 2022 and last season scored 34 goals with 25 assists in 57 matches across all competitions. His contract runs through June 2028. Transfermarkt estimates him at €90 million.

Earlier, the 28-year-old Brazilian said the Ballon d’Or was not “his personal goal”.
