
Italian clubs Juventus and AC Milan are showing interest in 31-year-old Portuguese midfielder Bernardo Silva of Manchester City, according to the publication Calciomercato.
The source reports that the Citizens currently have no intention of extending the Portuguese player's contract. Meanwhile, a potential transfer of Bernardo Silva to the Italian clubs is complicated by his salary, which stands at approximately ten million euros per year.
Bernardo Silva has been playing for Manchester City since July 2017. This season, he has scored two goals and contributed three assists across 19 matches in all competitions. The Portuguese player's agreement with the English club runs until the end of June 2026. The Transfermarkt website estimates the player's market value at €32 million.
After 12 rounds of the current Italian Serie A season, Milan rank second in the league table with 25 points, while Juventus sit in seventh place with 20 points.
