Marca: Ronaldo May Become Co-Owner of a Spanish Second Division Club

Al-Nassr forward Cristiano Ronaldo may soon become a co-owner of Almería, a club competing in the Spanish second division. Marca reports on this development.

According to the source, the Portuguese football star has a good relationship with Mohamed Al-Khereiji, head of the Saudi investment firm SMC Group, which previously acquired Almería.

The 40-year-old forward could purchase shares from SMC Group, allowing him to become one of the owners of the Spanish club. It is also noted that Al-Khereiji played a significant role in Ronaldo's transfer to Al-Nassr in December 2022.

Earlier reports indicated that Ronaldo topped Forbes' list of the world's highest-paid athletes.
