Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe missed his second consecutive training session with the French national team ahead of their World Cup qualifying matches against Azerbaijan and Iceland, reports AS.
The matches are scheduled for October 10 and 13.
Mbappe is recovering from a sprained ankle ligament sustained in Real Madrid's match against Villarreal on Saturday (3-1). He left the field in the 81st minute immediately after scoring a goal and headed to the locker room.
Liverpool defender Ibrahima Konaté also did not participate in the training.
This season, the 26-year-old Mbappé has scored 16 goals in 12 matches for both club and country.
