Mbappe Named Champions League Player of the Week

The Champions League press service announced on social media that Real Madrid's French forward, Kylian Mbappe, has been named the tournament's Player of the Week.

The French forward for Los Blancos scored four goals in the Matchday 5 group stage game against Olympiacos (3-4). PSG midfielder Vitinha took second place in the voting, scoring three goals against Tottenham Hotspur (5-3).

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, an Olympique de Marseille forward, finished third thanks to a brace in the game against Newcastle United (2-1). Serhou Guirassy, the Borussia Dortmund striker, took fourth place, scoring two goals in the match against Villarreal.
