Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe was named the best player of the week in the Champions League, according to UEFA’s website.
On Tuesday, September 30, the French striker scored three goals in a 5-0 victory over Kairat in the second group stage match of the Champions League.
Mbappe beat Manchester City striker Erling Haaland, Bodø/Glimt’s Jens Petter Hauge, and Napoli’s Rasmus Hojlund for the award.
After two rounds, Bayern lead the Champions League group table with six points. Real Madrid are second (6), with PSG third (6).
