Real Madrid officially announced the release of forward Kylian Mbappe from the hospital, where he was admitted on June 19 with acute gastroenteritis.
According to the Madrid club's statement, the French national team player has returned to the training camp and will receive special treatment as he gradually resumes training.
Recently, media outlets reported that Mbappe would not participate in the second round group stage match of the 2025 Club World Cup against Mexican club Pachuca, scheduled for June 22.
It's worth noting that the 26-year-old Frenchman missed the first round match against Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal (1-1) due to illness.
As of now, Real Madrid sit in second place in Group H with one point, two points behind leaders Salzburg.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is being held from June 15 to July 13.
A total of 32 teams are participating in the tournament, divided into eight groups of four clubs each. The top two teams from each group will advance to the knockout stage.
