On November 2, during Matchday 11 of La Liga against Valencia, Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappe scored two first-half goals.
This brace brought the 26-year-old Frenchman’s total goal tally across Europe’s top five leagues to 235.
With those two goals against Valencia, Mbappe surpassed Thierry Henry’s record of 233 goals in Europe’s elite competitions (Premier League, Ligue 1, Serie A, and La Liga). Henry achieved his total over 459 matches in those leagues.
Previously, Mbappe netted 191 goals in 246 Ligue 1 appearances for Monaco and Paris Saint-Germain. Since joining Real Madrid, he has scored 44 goals in 45 La Liga matches.
