Famous Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi is reportedly set to attend the unveiling of a 20-meter monument dedicated to himself in the Indian city of Kolkata on December 13.
The monument's public unveiling is scheduled for December 11, according to information provided by the BBC news service.
As part of his three-day visit to India, Messi, accompanied by Inter Miami teammates Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul, plans to visit several cities, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Delhi.
To recall, Messi helped Inter Miami win the MLS final against Vancouver on December 6.
It was previously reported that vandals damaged a statue of Messi in the Argentinian city of Mar del Plata.
