Mexico draws with Poland at the 2022 World Cup

The Mexican national team played a draw with Poland in the first match of the group round of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.


During the meeting, players of neither team were able to score any goals. The most real opportunity to open the scoring was missed by Polish forward Robert Lewandowski, who failed to convert the penalty kick in the 58th minute.

With one point each, Mexico and Poland share second and third place in Group C. The leader of the quartet is Saudi Arabia, which had previously beaten Argentina 2-1.
