Milan and Inter Approved to Demolish San Siro and Build New Stadium

On September 30, Milan’s city council approved the sale of the San Siro (Giuseppe Meazza) stadium to AC Milan and Inter Milan, according to Calcio e Finanza.

The meeting started on the evening of September 29 and lasted 12 hours until early morning. The vote was 24 in favor, 20 against.

This decision grants both clubs the right to demolish San Siro and build a new stadium in the near future.

After five rounds of Serie A 2025-26, Milan sit first with 12 points. Their next game is against Juventus on October 5 at 21:45 GMT+3.

Inter currently hold fifth place with 9 points and will face Cremonese on October 4 at 19:00 GMT+3.
