Mohamed Salah Demands UEFA Explain Death of Suleiman Al-Obeid

Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah reacted on his social media after UEFA posted about the death of former Palestine international Suleiman al-Obeid.

The Union of European Football Associations published a post mourning the 41-year-old, who was killed in an Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip. The organisation called al-Obeid "the Palestinian Pelé, who gave hope to countless children, even in the darkest of times."

Salah reposted UEFA's message and wrote:

Can you tell me how he died? where? And why?

Al-Obeid was killed in an airstrike on the southern Gaza Strip. He leaves behind five children. In June another Palestinian footballer, Abdullah Mazen Hawila, was also killed in an Israeli attack.
