Morata Praises Yamal After the Nations League Final

Spain striker Alvaro Morata shared his impressions of his team's winger Lamine Yamal's performance in the final of the Nations League against Portugal.

The 32-year-old footballer of Galatasaray failed to realize a penalty in the penalty shootout, causing Spain to lose with a score of 3:5. The main and extra time ended with a score of 2-2.

Alvaro Morata quoted by Barca Universal
Lamine played at a high level today, as did the entire squad. If the penalties had gone differently, the outcome with a title would have been so different. He’s very young, and we’re lucky to have him on Spain’s side – he will bring us many joys in the future.

Morata came on as a substitute in the 111th minute, while Yamal played until the 106th minute without scoring or making an assist.
