Morocco defeated Canada 2-1 in the final round of the group stage at the World Cup in Qatar.
African national team players got off to a great start, scoring two goals in the 25th minute. Hakim Ziyech and Youssef El-Nesyri got on the scoresheet. Before the break another Moroccan - Nayef Aguerd scored, but it was an own goal. The teams didn't score a single goal in the second half.
