A street artist has created a mural in a neighborhood of Barcelona to honor winger Lamine Yamal of FC Barcelona as he turns 18 on July 13. The footballer is depicted as Superman, the beloved comic book hero.
"When the will is strong, obstacles are small. Super Lamine," reads the mural.
Yamal is a product of the club's youth academy and has been playing for the first team since July 2023. He has so far played 106 matches, scored 25 goals, and provided 34 assists.
It was recently revealed that Yamal has become the world's most valuable football player, with Transfermarkt estimating his worth at €200 million.
