Mural of Yamal Defaced in Barcelona

A mural celebrating Barcelona's forward Lamine Yamal was vandalized by another artist but has since been restored by the original creator.

In July, a mural dedicated to Lamine Yamal's 18th birthday was painted in Barcelona, portraying the young player as Superman. The artwork was created by street artist TVBoy.

However, another street artist known as Shredder added images of dwarfs from Snow White to the mural. This act of vandalism refers to a recent controversy where Yamal was accused of hiring dwarfs to entertain guests at his birthday party.

Yamal is a product of Barcelona’s youth academy and has been playing for the first team since July 2023, with a record of 106 matches, 25 goals, and 34 assists.

Earlier, Barcelona's president Joan Laporta commented on Yamal's birthday party.
