According to talkSPORT, Newcastle United do not plan to part ways with their Swedish forward Alexander Isak in the current transfer window.
To deter interest from other clubs, the Magpies have placed a price tag exceeding 173 million euros on Isak, as reported by the source. Liverpool, on the other hand, made an offer of around 139 million euros to Newcastle, which was rejected.
There have been reports suggesting that Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal may attempt to sign Isak, however, the player himself prefers a move to Liverpool.
In the 2024/25 season, Isak made 42 appearances across all competitions, scoring 27 goals and providing six assists. His contract with the club runs until the end of June 2028, and Transfermarkt estimates his value at around 120 million euros.
