Neymar to Miss the Rest of 2025 Season Due to Injury

Santos forward Neymar is sidelined due to a meniscus injury in his left knee and will probably not appear on the field again in 2025, according to the publication Globo.

According to the source, Neymar felt discomfort in his left knee immediately before the Brazilian Serie A Matchday 35 game against Internacional, which forced him to miss the match. It was initially assumed the forward would be back in time for the next game, but the nature of the injury turned out to be more serious than initially estimated.

In the current season, the forward has recorded 25 matches for Santos across all competitions, in which he has scored seven goals and provided one assist.

Neymar's current contract with the club expires at the end of 2025. According to the Transfermarkt website, the player's current market value is estimated at €11 million.
