The French publication France Football has released the list of candidates for the Kopa Trophy. This annual award is given to the most outstanding young player under the age of 21.
Among the candidates for this prestigious award are: Pau Cubarsi (Barcelona), Ayyoub Bouaddi (Lille), Désiré Doué (PSG), Estevao (Chelsea), Dean Huijsen (Real Madrid), Myles Lewis-Skelly (Arsenal), Rodrigo Mora (Porto), Joao Neves (PSG), Lamine Yamal (Barcelona), and Kenan Yildiz (Juventus).
In 2024, Lamine Yamal, the Barcelona winger who won the Euro 2024 championship with the French national team, was named the best young player.
