
After the end of Round of 16 of the 2025 Club World Cup, the supercomputer Opta reevaluated the championship probabilities for each team.
According to Opta Analyst, English club Chelsea holds the highest chances of victory at 26.8%. They are followed by French club Paris Saint-Germain with 24.9%, and Real Madrid round out the top three with 16.9%. The least likely champions, according to the supercomputer, are Brazilian teams Fluminense (1.5%) and Palmeiras (3%).
The machine also predicts that Chelsea have the greatest probability of reaching the semifinals at 74.8%, where they would face Palmeiras. In other quarterfinal matches, Fluminense will meet Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal, PSG will take on Germany's Bayern Munich, and Real Madrid will face Borussia Dortmund.
