The press service of the Palestinian Football Association has reported the death of Abdullah Mazen Howaila, a midfielder for the Palestinian football club Jabalia.
According to TASS, citing the Palestinian Football Association, the 25-year-old player died as a result of an Israeli attack.
In recent days, Israel and Iran have been exchanging rocket strikes. Reports indicate that the escalation has resulted in over 200 casualties, with military facilities and civilian infrastructure suffering damage on both sides.
Previously, Howaila played for Al Ain, Majd, Masfut, and Baynounah in the UAE.
