The athlete group “Athletes 4 Peace” has urged UEFA to suspend Israeli teams from international tournaments.
The petition was signed by 48 athletes, including Monaco midfielder Paul Pogba and Al Duhail striker Hakim Ziyech.
The athletes demand Israel’s suspension due to military actions in Gaza.
Previously, The Times reported that most UEFA executive committee members support the idea of disqualifying Israeli teams from international competitions.
