The Brazilian outlet Ge Globo has disclosed the financial details of a potential contract between Real Madrid’s head coach Carlo Ancelotti and the Brazil national football team.
According to the source, besides a monthly salary of four million Brazilian reais (around 625,000 euros), the preliminary agreement between Ancelotti and the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) includes a bonus of five million euros if the national team wins the 2026 World Cup.
The contract also offers several perks, including a private plane for Ancelotti’s regular trips to Europe. The Italian coach is expected to lead the team for 14 months – until the end of the World Cup. In addition, the contract stipulates the arrangement of a friendly match between Brazil and Real Madrid.
Recently, the Brazilian Football Federation decided to dismiss head coach Dorival Junior after a 1-4 loss to Argentina in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
The 63-year-old coach took charge of Brazil early in 2024. Under his management, the team played 16 matches with seven wins, six draws, and three losses.
Carlo Ancelotti has been managing Real Madrid since 2021, but previously led the club from 2013 to 2015. He has won three UEFA Champions League titles, two La Liga championship titles, the Copa del Rey, and two UEFA Super Cups during his tenure.
Earlier, Ancelotti said he would not comment on his future in Real Madrid until May 25. His current contract with the Spanish club runs until summer 2026.
Earlier, the financial terms for the Italian coach, under which he would leave Real Madrid, became known.
