
English striker Jamie Vardy, who became a Premier League champion with Leicester City, has joined Cremonese as a free agent. The Italian club announced the signing on its official website.
The 38-year-old player has signed a contract with the Italian club that runs until the summer of 2026, with an option for extension by mutual agreement.
In the last season, Jamie Vardy scored ten goals and provided four assists in 36 matches across all competitions.
During his time at Leicester City, he also won the FA Cup and the Community Shield.
Currently, Cremonese are in third place in the Serie A standings, having earned six points after two rounds.
It was previously reported that Jamie Vardy could have joined Napoli due to an injury to their main striker Romelu Lukaku.
