The English Premier League set a new record for spending in a single transfer window after Noah Okafor moved from AC Milan to Leeds United, BBC reports.
Okafor’s transfer, reported at £18 million, pushed the total spending to £2.37 billion.
During the summer 2025 window, six Premier League clubs also set new individual club records for spending on a single player.
Earlier it was announced that Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah was named the Premier League Player of the Season for 2024-25.
