Transfermarkt updated English Premier League footballers' values after the summer transfer window closed and the season's first matches were played.
As a result, the total value of Premier League clubs increased by 756.25 million euros, reaching 12.78 billion euros. The English league tops the world ranking for total squad value. This figure is more than double that of Spain’s La Liga (5.57 billion euros) and Italy’s Serie A (5.44 billion euros), which are in second and third place, respectively.
The most valuable club in England remains London’s Arsenal, valued at 1.31 billion euros. Manchester City are second, valued at 1.21 billion euros.
