U.S. President Donald Trump will attend the final match of the Club World Cup 2025, taking place this Sunday in East Rutherford, as reported by ESPN.
It’s worth noting that during his second term, President Trump has shown a keen interest in sports. In February, he became the first sitting president to attend the Super Bowl, and in May, he announced that the NFL Draft would be held in Washington in 2027.
The Club World Cup is being hosted in the U.S. from June 15 to July 13. Initially, the tournament featured 32 teams divided into eight groups of four clubs each. The top two teams from each group advanced to the knockout stage.
The final match will occur at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, which has a capacity of 82,500 fans.
Previously, FIFA President Gianni Infantino announced the opening of a new office in one of Donald Trump’s skyscrapers in New York City.
