PSG Goalkeeper Chevalier Concedes Fastest Debut Goal for France in 90 Years

France national team goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier conceded the fastest goal in his debut match for the national team. It took place during France’s 3-1 victory over Azerbaijan.

The ball found the net just 3 minutes and 4 seconds after the start. Azerbaijan forward Renat Dadashov scored the goal.

This was the fastest goal conceded by a French goalkeeper on debut since 1935, when René Llense also allowed a goal in the fourth minute.

Chevalier joined Paris Saint-Germain in August 2025 from Lille. He signed a contract with the French capital club until June 30, 2030.

So far this season, Chevalier has appeared in 17 matches for PSG across all competitions, conceding 18 goals.
