According to Sport.es, PSG are closely monitoring the situation of Barcelona defender Eric Garcia, whose contract expires in summer 2026.
The French club may start negotiations with the 24-year-old player if he does not renew his contract with Barcelona within the next three months.
Barcelona reportedly intend to extend Garcia’s contract until 2030, but delays in negotiations have raised questions, especially since talks with other players are progressing faster. Garcia himself is interested in continuing to play for the Blaugrana.
PSG’s head coach Luis Enrique values Garcia highly – he was the coach when Garcia first debuted for the Spanish national team.
This season, Garcia has played nine matches for Barcelona in all competitions, scoring one goal. Transfermarkt estimates him at €25 million.
Currently, Barcelona lead La Liga with 19 points after seven rounds.
