
Paris Saint-Germain are considering a move to sign Atletico Madrid forward Julian Alvarez, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
According to the source, PSG head coach Luis Enrique sees the Argentine as a potential upgrade to the team’s attacking line. It is noted that Alvarez is interested in working under the Spanish manager.
Atletico Madrid are open to considering offers for the 25-year-old forward and have set a buyout clause at €120 million.
Alvarez joined Atletico Madrid from Manchester City in August 2024. This season, he has appeared in 15 matches for Atletico across all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing four assists.
His contract with Atletico runs until June 30, 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his market worth at €99.3 million.
After 12 matches, Atletico sit fourth in the La Liga standings with 25 points. In the next fixture, Diego Simeone’s side will travel to face Getafe. The match will take place on November 23 and begin at 20:30 GMT+3.
