Polish club Raków has officially appealed to UEFA to suspend Israeli team Maccabi Haifa from participating in next season's European competitions.
According to a statement on the club's website, the request was prompted by the behavior of Maccabi's fans during the third qualifying round match of the UEFA Europa Conference League in Debrecen, where the Polish team won 2-0.
During the game, Maccabi fans displayed a banner reading "Murderers since 1939." Polish President Karol Nawrocki condemned this act as "stupidity no words can justify" and emphasized that it insults the memory of Polish citizens.
Raków stated that they have submitted an official complaint to UEFA, insisting on the disqualification of their opponent from European competitions due to systematic violations of regulations.
