Real Madrid are considering Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao as a replacement for Vinicius Júnior should the latter leave for the Saudi Arabian club. This is reported by Sport.es.
Negotiations to extend Vinicius' contract until 2030 have stalled due to his desire to become Real Madrid's highest-paid player, something club's president Florentino Perez does not want.
Vinicius has been playing for los Blancs since July 2018. In total, he has played 316 matches for the club, scored 105 goals and made 82 goal assists. His agreement with the Madrid team runs until the summer of 2027. The transfer value of the 24-year-old Brazilian is estimated by Transfermarkt at 170 million euros.
Earlier it became known that representatives of Barcelona met with the agents of Williams to discuss his desire to join the Catalan giants.
