Manchester United are showing interest in acquiring Real Madrid midfielder Federico Valverde. According to the Mirror, the Manchester club are monitoring the Uruguayan player's situation with Los Blancos.
According to the source, Valverde is among several Real Madrid players who are dissatisfied with the working methods of the team's current head coach, Xabi Alonso. The Uruguayan midfielder is not ruling out the possibility of changing clubs if his relationship with Alonso remains strained.
It is noted that Real Madrid are not willing to part with the 27-year-old midfielder for less than 100 million pounds sterling, while Manchester United estimate the player's potential transfer at 70 million pounds.
This current season, Valverde has played in 17 matches across all competitions, registering four assists. The player's current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his transfer value is estimated at 130 million euros.
