Real Madrid player Camavinga: I wanted to do judo like my brother

The 20-year-old midfielder of Spanish FC Real Madrid, Eduardo Camavinga, said that as a child he wanted to do judo and not play football.

Eduardo Camavinga
I started playing at a young age. But I didn't want to play. At first I just wanted to do judo. My brother did judo, and I wanted to be like him. I liked to fight a little bit, too, but my mother wouldn't let me. She wanted me to play football. What do you call that? Destiny? It's all thanks to my mom and a woman named Fatima who worked at school.

Camavinga became a Real Madrid player in August 2021, signing a contract with the Spanish team until 2027. The transfer cost 40 million euros.
