Real Madrid's president, Florentino Perez, is looking to sign Manchester City's and Norway's forward Erling Haaland, should Brazilian winger Vinicius Junior leave the team.
According to Cadena SER, Perez aims to combine 25-year-old Haaland with 26-year-old forward Kylian Mbappe, who plays for both los Blancos and the French national team. It was noted that Haaland's transfer could be financed by the potential sale of Vinicius to a Saudi Pro League club.
On July 26, Defensa Central reported that Real Madrid's management is considering selling the 25-year-old Vinicius in 2026 if they fail to reach a new contract agreement with him.
Earlier, on May 13, El Nacional reported that Barcelona have expressed interest in Haaland and are prepared to buy the Norwegian forward from City for 175 million euros in the summer of 2026.
