
According to L'Equipe, the management of Real Madrid has decided to change the jersey number of French forward Kylian Mbappe.
The source reports that in the upcoming season, Kylian Mbappe will wear the number 10 jersey, previously held by Croatian midfielder Luka Modric, who transferred to Italian club Milan this summer.
It is worth noting that in the last season, Kylian wore the number 9 jersey for Real, and the number 10 jersey for the French national team.
In his debut season at Real, Kylian Mbappe participated in 59 matches across all competitions, scoring 45 goals and providing five assists.
Last season, Real Madrid finished second in La Liga, earning 84 points and trailing champions Barcelona by four points.
Additionally, it has been reported that Real Madrid's management is considering postponing their opening match of the new La Liga season against Osasuna.
