A court in San Bartolome de Tirajana, Spain, has begun hearings in the case against Real Madrid defender Raul Asensio and his former youth‑team teammates Andres Garcia, Ferran Ruiz and Juan Rodriguez.
They are accused of circulating sexually explicit videos involving two women, one of whom was a minor, according to Mundo Deportivo.
The court ordered Ruiz, Rodriguez and Garcia to post €20,000 bail each, and Asensio to post €15,000.
The four Real youth players were arrested in 2023, due to the suspicion of distributing a minor's intimate video. In May 2025, the investigating court of Gran Canaria opened criminal proceedings over those allegations.
The Spanish prosecution requested a 2.5-year prison sentence for Asensio and 4 years and 7 months for the other defendants in August.
