Insider Fabrizio Romano revealed on his YouTube channel that Manchester United’s leadership is running out of patience with coach Ruben Amorim.
According to Romano, the upcoming matches are crucial for the manager’s future. However, the club has not yet started working with Gareth Southgate’s appointment as head coach, out of respect for Amorim. It is reported that the club management still expects positive results from the current coach.
I am not saying that Amorim’s job is completely safe. They need to perform in a better way because Manchester United fans want results.
Amorim took over United on November 11, 2024, after Erik ten Hag’s dismissal. Under him, United played seven games in 2025-26, winning twice, drawing once, and losing four times.
After six Premier League rounds, United sit 14th with seven points. Their next match is against Sunderland on October 4 at 17:00 GMT+3.
