
Former Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo leads the all-time UEFA Champions League minutes-played ranking. According to Transfermarkt, the Portuguese star has logged 15,758 minutes across 183 matches.
Lionel Messi, the ex-Barcelona striker, ranks second with 13,577 minutes in 163 Champions League appearances. Goalkeepers’ minutes are not included in this ranking.
Rounding out the top five are Sergio Ramos (142 matches, 12,449 minutes), Raul Gonzalez (142 matches, 11,989 minutes), and Toni Kroos (151 matches, 11,635 minutes).
On November 4, matches of the fourth matchday of the 2025-26 Champions League main round will take place. After three completed rounds, Paris Saint-Germain sit atop the standings with nine points, followed by Bayern Munich in second place and Inter Milan in third, both also on nine points.
The current Champions League titleholders are Paris Saint-Germain, who defeated Inter 5-0 in the final of the 2024-25 season.
