Al Nassr forward and Portugal national team star Cristiano Ronaldo has welcomed Jorge Jesus as the new head coach of the Saudi team.
The appointment of the 70-year-old Portuguese specialist was announced on July 14, and his contract is set for one season.

Throughout his coaching career, Jorge Jesus has managed clubs such as Benfica, Flamengo, and Fenerbahçe, among other Portuguese teams.
Notably, he has worked in Saudi Arabia twice – first from 2018 to 2019 and again from 2023 to 2025, leading Al Hilal. With this team, Jorge Jesus won a championship title, a national cup, and three Super Cups.
Cristiano Ronaldo has been with Al Nassr since January 2023. Last season, the team finished third in the Saudi Pro League, earning 70 points, 13 behind champions Al Ittihad.
