Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo is the most popular athlete in Google search queries in the history of the company since 1998. This was revealed in a video on Google's YouTube channel.
At the same time, the Portuguese did not get into the top 10 most popular athletes in search engine queries in 2023.
During his professional career, Ronaldo has played for Sporting, Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus. He currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr.
Ronaldo's current team ranked third in the most popular Google searches for sports clubs.
