Al-Nassr and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo rejected the offer to move to Brazilian club Botafogo, which will play at the 2025 World Cup.
This was revealed by Botafogo defender Alex Telles - Ronaldo's former Manchester United teammate and current Al-Nassr teammate.

I asked him to come here [Botafogo]. I even said 'come and be happy at Fogao', but he said it wasn't the right time. Everyone knows what's best for them.
Recall, Ronaldo moved to Al-Nassr in January 2023, scoring 35 goals in 41 matches for the club. Now the parties are negotiating a possible extension of the contract.
