Liverpool and Egypt forward Mohamed Salah expressed his deep condolences regarding the tragic deaths of his teammate Diogo Jota and Jota's brother Andre Silva in a car accident in Spain.

I am truly lost for words. Until yesterday, I never thought there would be something that would frighten me of going back to Liverpool after the break. Team mates come and go but not like this.
He said that it will be very difficult to accept Jota's absence from the team. Salah extended his condolences to the wife, children, and parents of the deceased.
Jota played 182 matches for Liverpool, scoring 65 goals and providing 26 assists.
Earlier reports indicated that Jota's funeral will take place in Portugal on July 5.
