
Liverpool midfielder Mohamed Salah has decided to end his vacation in Greece early and return to England urgently due to the tragic death of his teammate Diogo Jota, as reported by Yallakora.
Salah’s vacation was originally planned to last until next week. The Egyptian spent a total of 150 matches on the field with Jota as part of Liverpool.
Diogo Jota, who was 28 years old, tragically died on July 3 along with his brother André in a car accident in Spain. In memory of the player, Liverpool has decided to permanently remove the number 20 jersey, which Jota wore.
The funerals for Jota and his brother will be held on July 5 in Portugal.
